Federation of Vietnamese Women Religious in the USA

Liên Dòng Nữ Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ

Mission

To foster solidarity in leadership and ministry across our congregations' diverse locations and services, empowering our collective impact throughout the country.

About

In 1992, a pivotal moment occurred when leaders of Vietnamese women religious in the United States first gathered as a unified body. Today, our federation represents a significant collective of over 300 members through major superiors and/or their delegates from 17 distinct women religious congregations or communities across America.

Annual Leadership Conferences

Our annual gathering fosters networking, sisterly support, and leadership and member enrichment, while also providing cherished opportunities for shared prayer. This collective strengthens our ability to faithfully live out the unique charisms of our respective congregations. From a modest start with a small group of leaders representing just a few communities, the Vietnamese Women Religious Leadership in the U.S.A. has now been meeting annually for more than three decades.
